Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing https://artspace.creativectrl.org (and related CTRL:// ARTSPACE apps) you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
CTRL:// ARTSPACE is operated by Uche Osakwe operating as Creative Ctrl Artspace, a business name registered in Ontario, Canada and with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria. Uche Osakwe owns the brand and platform IP, trading as Creative Ctrl Artspace. “Creative Ctrl”, “we”, and “us” mean that operator. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts
You may create an account with email and password or Sign in with Google. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. Google sign-in is used only to authenticate you; we request email, name, and profile photo. See the Privacy Policy for how that data is used.
- Viewer accounts — browse the archive, preview audio, unlock drops, follow events.
- Creator accounts — verified musicians, DJs, producers, visual artists, and curators who publish work and receive payouts.
3. Exclusive drops and payouts
Supporters unlock exclusive releases via Stripe (USD), Paystack (NGN), or Bachs (multi-currency card checkouts and direct bank rails). 85% of net revenue goes to the creator’s connected payout account. Creative Ctrl retains a 15% platform fee. Digital unlocks are generally final and non-refundable except where required by law.
Payout timing. Creator earnings are not released on a fixed calendar hold (including any former “14-day rolling reserve” wording). Funds become available for deposit after the creator’s payout sub-account (Stripe Connect, Paystack, and/or Bachs) is approved by the platform operator and the payment processor completes onboarding. After approval, bank timing follows Stripe, Paystack, or Bachs settlement. We may still delay, freeze, reverse, or set off amounts for chargebacks, payment disputes, fraud, or valid copyright claims.
Unpublish and purchaser access. A creator may unpublish an exclusive drop at any time to remove it from public discovery and stop new purchases. Unpublishing does not cancel access for supporters who already unlocked that drop. Creators may permanently delete drop media only when there are no successful unlocks and no checkout still pending confirmation (including open sessions within a validity window of up to 24 hours). While purchase grants exist, the platform retains vault objects needed to honor access. The platform may disable streams and freeze related payouts if we receive a valid infringement notice.
Creators are solely responsible for taxes on earnings. We do not withhold tax or file on a creator’s behalf unless required by law. Stripe, Paystack, Bachs, and in-app payout summaries are bookkeeping records, not tax advice.
Tips are non-refundable patronage gifts and are not a purchase of masters or a commercial license.
4. Copyright
Creators warrant they own or have documented clearance for everything they upload, and they indemnify Creative Ctrl against third-party claims. We may disable streams and freeze related payouts if we receive a valid infringement notice.
5. Acceptable use
You will not bypass vault security, scrape the service, impersonate others, spam, or commit fraud.
6. Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account from profile settings or by emailing legal@creativectrl.org. Creators’ ability to delete Exclusive Drop media is limited by §3 (Unpublish and purchaser access) so existing purchasers are not cut off.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including issues at third-party payment providers.
